model 34 bolt removal ??

This sounds kind of stupid. How the **** do you remove the bolt on my savage stevens model 34 22 bolt action. I have had guns all my life. All my other bolt action rifles I just pull the trigger and the bolt pulls right out. This one doesnt. Whats the trick ??

Not sure, thats usually all I do as well.

Do you have the mag out of it? How about what position the safety is in?
