Axis XP scope rings

Last night I went to "fit" my rifle for me and realized I need a cheek piece as I see the lower half of the scope when I look comfortably down the rifle. That being said- has anybody purchased different scope rings for the Axis XP that sit lower? Or are the factory rings as low as one can get?

No they are not. Do yourself a favor and get a one piece base such as EGW and then some low rings like the Burris or Weaver. Better yet if you can afford it try the low DNZ game reaper.

I use the DNZ game reaper medium height, but the bolt rubs against the focal adjustment on my eyepiece. It's not a big issue for me but may be for you. Just something to consider using lower rings.
