Heye everyone just finishing up building an Ar from the ground up and would like to continue building a bolt gun. I have a few 110 savages one 270 and the other is a 223. I would like to build this next gun from the ground up buy a used action and start from there.
Guess I just came here for advise and guidence with the next build.

What I'm wanting is a sub .5 moa gun out to 800+ yards would like it chambered in 300 win mag or 7mm stw. Probably end up with 300 due to factory ammo to gather brass. looking for a usable action if anyone knows of one. Thank you for having me on the page, Zeth

welcome...curious why you want to build a long action when short actions cover everything you could possibly need other than maybe a 338 lupua

consider possibly 300 wsm or 7 wsm both fantastic. I love my 6.5 creedmoor, uses much less powder, less recoil great barrel and brass life. depends what types of critters you want to kill at that range. if your talking paper I highly suggest the creedmoor
