I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I searched a number of threads and could not find the answer. I'm looking at a Boyd's stock for my Model 10. All of the stocks which Boyd's lists for my rifle have action screw measurement of 4 7/16", which is 4.4375". The specs for my rifle and my measurement is 4.4". I realize that .0375" is not a great difference, but I wanted to ensure it would fit before ordering. I spoke to two different sales representatives at Boyd's who told me that their stock would not fit if the measurement is not the same. However, many people here on the forum have Boyd's stocks, so I have to assume they really will fit. Any help to clear this up would be appreciated.
