Bolt problem?

Just recieved a new 7-08 in a 114 classic.....beautiful! Having a problem with the bolt kissing the saftey when drawn past the saftey button. Looks like a small portion of the bolt, ( round piece that appears to be fixed ), is just nicking the saftey button. It hits is hard enough to function the saftey position. First thought was to take a dremel to the area of the bolt that's hitting. Would appreciate any help. Thanks, smoker

Remove bolt and take the barreled action out of the stock. check the safety button to make sure it was properly installed and setting flush in the track. Look at the tang to make sure it is not twisted. If these look OK, then I would call Savage for warranty repair before taking dremel to the bolt and voiding the warranty.

I looked at the trigger assy. thinking I could remove it to see what might be the problem but was not sure how. The parts breakdown doesen't show that detail. Any ideas how to remove the triiger assy.?
