Are the barrel threads the same as long action 110/111? Will they accept aftermarket triggers?

Barrels are the same.
They are all CF.
Some aftermarket triggers work in the Axis, some do not.

For example, Rifle Basix Sav-1 will work, Sav-2 will not.

Yes they are center feed, and the Axis barrels are the standard small shank as most all Savage barrels. There are a few aftermarket triggers, but be sure someone does not sell you a trigger for s standard Savage. They don't all work with an Axis. I expect to add a Rifle Basix trigger to my Axis after Christmas. I don't want to do anything to it until after deer season closes.
