Help a newbie, please

Wanting to fit a C&B Carbelite to a Savage 10 Accutrigger in .243. I had hoped that it would be drop in, but it looks like I need to take quite a bit of material from the area where the spring on the rear of the trigger group is. Is this standard?

Also, to remove material, what type of file would you use? I have a dremel, but am concerned about going too far.

I assume this gun is an accutrigger model and the stock is not. At any rate, get after it with the dremmel. Just take your time and it'll work fine. As a good friend of mine says, "Don't be in a hurry to f**k up." ;D
