Stevens 200 Bolt

Hi guys, First post here.

I've got a Stevens 200 that I'm having ejection issues with. It will not fully eject a spent case from the barrel unless I really slam the bolt back very hard. Not the best way to keep your eye on a running target! It will pull it out, but leaves it on top of the magazine and has to be removed by hand.

I'm sure there is a thread somwhere on here, but I've not been able to find it.

Your experiencing a fairly common problem with the Savage system. Many times, a larger detent ball (.140") helps to alleviate the issue.

Make sure your ejector is not recessed especially if you have ever blown a primer or are shooting hot reloads
