For anyone running a Criterion/McGowan/Shilen prefit in 6.5x47 how does it do with the 140gr bullets?

It seems most 6.5x47 chambers are throated for the 120/130gr bullets.

I'd like to run a 26" medium to heavy varmint contour on a large shank and will want to focus on the 140s.

Is anyone running them?

How are they doing?

I am running a 26" criterion with a 1x8 twist small shank. I have shot Berger 140 grain boat tail long range bullets. They shot very well using H4350 and RL-15. I never did put them over a chrony, but I was not pushing them very hard. I had planned on using some form of 140's but have since settled on 123's and 107 grain bullets for no other reason than price and availability. My barrel shoots them all equally well. I have read but never tried the berger 130 VLD as that seems to be the best compromise.
