Is there a choate stock that would fit an axis?
I'm getting bothered by the flimsy stock and don't know if a boyds would do the job.
any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Nope. Just SSS and Boyds. SSS is superior to Boyds,. Both are plenty sturdy/stiff (walnut or laminates) No synthetics.

So Boyds has a true walnut stock for the Axis ?
What makes SSS superior .....better finishes, pillar bedded, or ?

SSS inlets their stocks on a CNC machine and fit is absolutely perfect. I have both the ProHunter and ProTac variants.

SSS has a front pillar and what appear to be metal locking points for the magazine. Boyds has plastic (potentially phenolic) locking surfaces for the mag, a steel escutcheon that does not reach into the receiver inletting, and its own recoil lug.
