I stumbled upon this gorgeously handsome padded leather sling (made in Canada) with the Savage name and logo. The link is above from Cabelas. It is top quality and works wonderful. Best of all, it's only $24.99! I was going to have a custom sling made up that would have looked just like this. I really wanted the Savage logo and the company's name. I was amazed to find just what I needed. I got mine in tan but a darker brown is also available.

It looks great on my Savage 114 Classic .30-06!

I have seen those. They look nice....I was wanting to see one in person, but they do not stock them in the store. I was concerned about the comfort level as I generally ride on a atv or motorbike. How does it feel? could it compare to the comfort of a butler creek?

Thanks for the post. Just ordered 2, one for the 110 and one for the M99.

I can't compare it to others since it's the only non-military sling that I own. I can say that I find it very comfortable, especially with the inner padding. It also works great as a hasty sling. The quality is top notch and I really like how the logo looks (sort of a distressed, aged look even though it's brand new). For $25, I think it's a steal!

DD, I do love my 114 Classic! I bought it at Bass Pro Shops last year for $629. No other bolt action had all the features that I wanted. Beautiful wood with the black forend tip, nice grain, great checkering, and the brass Savage grip cap. Deep blue instead of matte, the engine turned bolt with the Savage logo, the Acu-Trigger that I dialed down to 2 pounds, and outstanding accuracy.

I love my Savage!
