Who makes a syntactic stock for a savage axis?

Presently, if you want a replacement stock for the Axis you only have Boyds and Sharpshooter Supply. Neither offer a synthetic stock. If you are looking for a factory replacement synthentic stock you can check the classifieds here, Brownells, or order one from Savage directly.

That is what I was thinking. I have a old savage 110 with a bling magazine attached to the action. I want to build a rifle from it but I didn't know if I would be better selling it and buying axis.

New Axis (has cheap dbm) or old 110 Blind Mag????

How much do you like/need detachable box mag? Personally, I like them, but I hate the Axis version so much I prefer blind mag to them.

The 110 surely has more aftermarket options and support...
Boyds is a very affordable option for wood stocks...
I think it all comes down to my dbm/blind mag question.

I am gonna stick with the 110 and go with a bell and carlson stock.

Sounds like a good plan.
