I am fixing to rebarrel a Model 111 FXCP3 rifle that is currently chambered in .270 and was wondering what I would have to do to change it to a .308 besides the New barrel? I have already considered who I am gonna get the barrel from and in what style just need to figure out the bolt Problems now. Any and all thoughts and suggestions Gladly received.. :yield::yield:

Nothing more is needed to go from .270 to .308. They use the same bolt head. Also, .270 is long action and 308 is a short action cartridge, which is fine. If you were going from 308 to 270 and the original 308 was on a short action rifle, you would not be able to go to 270 (long action). As it is, there's no concerns. Swap em out and be sure to use go, no-go gages to check headspace.
You will likely need a barrel nut wrench and barrel vise or an action wrench as well. (just for removing and replacing the barrel nut)
