WANTED LOADS FOR 180 GRAIN AND 170 GRAIN PROJECTILES FOR 308

Hello :),i have been given some 180 projectiles and some 170's ( not 168 ),they look like fmj with a boat tail and a can ring.i want to use them up ,but not waste them.i have a savage fvss 308,my pride and joy. can any one help me with loads for the two projectiles above.i have varget powder , rem primers and cases. please help :(

Not much of loads for the 170 grain bullets, but you would probably be safe with the loads for slightly heavier bullets.

42 grains of Varget with the 170 grain bullet at a COAL of 2.80" will give you 2561 FPS @ 49266 PSI chamber pressure from a 24 " barrel.
