Everyone,
New to the site, but not new to Savage Arms. Had several Savages thru my life. Currently have a model 12 topped off with a Leupold 6.5 x 20, used for prairie dogs and paper. Best shot was 1132 yrds. We were shooting what they called scat dogs that are smaller than true p-dogs.
I just bought my first striker in 243, should get in sometime next week. It is stock with a burris scope. I want to make it into a long range toy.
Retired US Army, and not new to long distance shooting. I still have a 500 yd range with access to longer distances if I want to play.
