Just picked up my very first bolt action rifle last week. A brand new in the box, Savage Axis 2 XP in .308, I'm looking to learn as much as I can about this animal. I've been shooting handguns and AR style rifles for decades. I finally decided to get into a bolt rifle after being bitten by the bug at my local outdoor long distance range.
