Savage 12b- model#18615

I just saw this model in a 308. What can you tell me about it ? Is this a left port opening/right bolt?
anything on these models would be great?

It's a dual port. Described as left-load right-eject but there's no reason you couldn't also load it from the right.

I have one that is in a f-class stock being the only difference. It shot pretty well and wore the barrel out. It is a decent rifle and I think you would be happy with it. If the barrel isn't what you want down the road there are plenty of pre chambered barrels out there to fill the bill.
