Flat Back Action

I do not know what is meant by nor how to identify, a savage flat back action.
Will someone tell me please? Thank you.

The flat back actions are the older style staggered feed actions. Literally the rear scope mount section of action is flat compared to the front. The rear baffle and bolt handle have a flat top too. Later there were round rear staggered feed actions. All newer actions are round rear and are centerfeed.
