Boyd's stock for Savage 12 factory heavy bbl

Has anyone ordered a stock for this rifle?
I see Boyd has a stock for factory bbl, is this the standard sporter conture or the heavy bbl?
Maybe Both. Has anyone contacted Boyd about this? Are they quick to respond to questions?
I know bbl channels can be opened pretty easily if all else fits properly.

It is a sporter channel. It can how ever be opend up for a varmint contour.

Boyd's did say they can be opened up, but that on some stocks, I think the sporter, it'd leave a very small strip of wood next to the bbl channel?
I think I'll have to call them.

I have one. No problem opening it up for a 1 1/8" barrel.
