Just won a bid on a 10PC in 223.

1st off is the PC a flat receiver or round?
Edited to add>> Will this be a short or long action?
I'm trying to get my rings and base figured out so I can get them ordered and be ready for when the rifle gets here.<<

Looking at a rail like the one from Weaver http://www.midwayusa.com/product/315941/weaver-1-piece-extended-multi-slot-tactical-picatinny-style-20-moa-base-savage-10-series-short-action-matte?cm_vc=ProductFinding

I tend to hand feed my rifles more than using the magazine. Will a rail like that get in the way? If yes then I will use a two piece base, probably Burris.

I will be mounting a Old original Redfield 6x24x50 scope on it in Burris Signature rings.

What height rings will I need and still keep the scope as low as possible?
Thanks!

It should be a short action, hand feeding should not be a problem with a one piece rail, you will probably be able to use low or medium rings but the scope will still sit higher than it would with two piece mounts. Tube diameter, length, obj diameter and the height of your base will all effect needed ring height though.
