Base recommendation for 12 LRP

I have a 12 LRP coming in the next week or two. Thinking about which base to go with. I know the recoil lug on some would have to be ground off. I've used TPS and EGW in the past, the TPS have the lug, EGW doesn't. I've also seen Ken Farrell bases recommended, and think he may make one for the 12 target actions. I don't mind spending a little for quality, but if the EGW will work fine it'd save me some money.

I'll be mounting an SS 5-20x50 on it, so if anyone here has that combo on this rifle I'd be particularly interested in which base and rings you're using.

You won't go wrong with a Ken Farrell base. Had them on all my target actions.

I have 5 Ken Farrell bases and rings. There my first choice. Strong and secure, can't go wrong.

I like the warne bases. Very well made and a great company to boot

I have a Warne one-piece on my 260, seems excellent, but I normally stick to EGW HD.

EGW makes a steel base that works very well too.
