receiver screw length

Guys

do any of the new short action models come with the 4.275 receiver screw width ? the internal magazine models have this screw length or is it the hinged floor plate models

i'm trying to see if a SA rifle my buddy has will fit a stock WITH 4.275 between the screw holes

All short actions made after 2008 are 4.400" ACTION SCREW SPACING. The receiver screw length is a different subject.

just measure the screw spacing on his gun. You can do it without taking it apart.

I don't have the rifle I have a free Choate folding stock from a friend and was looking for an action to fit the stock ;D

Oh, now I understand. You may be able to find the action you want either in the classifieds or from Northlander if your friends dont fit it.
