factory DBM conversion

I'm planning on ordering a new stock in the next week or so, and I'm trying to decide if I want to get one inletted for the factory DBM(my rifle is the centerfeed internal mag).

I was wondering if anyone has done this conversion and knows what the factory bottom metal costs.

I understand I'm better off calling savage or SSS directly to find out, but seeing as the purchase wont be made at the time I don't want to bother either just with the questin. So I thought Id try you guys first.

I called Savage and asked about a year ago. I believe it was over $80 for the bottom metal and DBM assembly. Luckily I found someone selling the bottom metal on gunbroker. If you are a member ($12), you can post a WTB request in the Forum Savage Classifieds. You might find someone who will sell you the bottom metal for the DBM.
