Hi Guys! I'm new here and need a bit of advice. I'm considering upgrading my deer rifle. Currently, I have a 1961 Marlin 30.30 that someone has taken a liking to - hey are talking about a trade with their Savage Edge 7mm-08. I'm wondering what your thoughts would be on this. I don't have a lot of knowledge on this cartridge and want to ensure that it would be sufficient for the whitetail deer here in Nova Scotia. Also, what is the difference between the Edge and Axis models? Thanks for the help.
