Model 99

I was given a Savage 99 years ago from my Pops. He did some mods on the safety to make it practical. This was done by some machine work and carving out the stock some for the new safety. Over the years, the stock split and I have bought a new one to re finish and install. My deal is that I want to return the rifle back to its original lever safety.

Any ideas on where to find parts these day? I don't need originals but repros are just fine. Thanks in advance

www.e-gunparts.com would be your best bet if there's any to be had. Don't know of anyone making repo parts for the 99's. Might check with Mad Dog here as he's the local 99 guru.

The safety was customized so original config is changed. I can send pics if that helps.
