Wow, that's cheap. Not the most user-friendly, but cheap for sure.

I saw a guy blow the guts out of one at the range with a 12ga slug, brand new, the first shot ove.....errr...through it. Some wise guy told him he should shoot two more for group!:p

I can't talk, moons ago I killed a screen the second time out with my Oehler 33!

The best thing about having one of those is you can tell your buddys you own a chronagraph without spending alot of money.

I have two chrono's, the one that I use, and the one I let everyone else use, some times I take out both to confirm the FPS, when I have a doubts of can't believe what is displayed, I am at odds with most chrono's MFG, since they continuously ignore my request for a 5 digit display panel.

Lmao at "request for a five digit display panel". Gotta love Dean

You're probably already in that territory, just need confirmation, right? Lol

I've had a Chrony since they came out, mine has the cardboard diffuser holders with a few holes in them. Never had a problem with it.

Simple solution. Set three up end to end, shoot across them then add all three numbers together. Yeah, I know "Why didn't I think of that".

I think that by posting this link, Dean was trying to help out those who maybe would otherwise not own a chrono, but could get into this one at such a low price. It may not be the best, but I'm pretty sure it's better than nothing.
Btw, Dean gets the ERROR display with every round he fires lol.

I have no doubt that was Dean's intentions.
I never had a problem with the "error" or failure to read display.
My problem was very consistent results that simply were not accurate and therefor I spent allot of time, money and ammo to "true up" after the crony was done and I actually tried to use the speed to set drops at distance or find a low ES load.
Then the hole world develops and adopts: new, improved, more expensive waists of time like magneto speed or any of the other devices intended to answer the simplest of questions.
If they work for you that's great and buy all means spend your money how ever you want. I have found gravity is very reliable and allot cheeper if used correctly.
Ah.......the chronograph vs gravity argument, the one argument I know better than to post online, the one argument I actively try to avoid engaging in and yet is so hard not to.
OK, flame suit on, getting off my soap box.
