bending the bolt handle on a b mag

Just got a bmag for a screaming deal but the bolt handle sit right on top of my trigger finger and doesnt feel real good, looks like if its bent just a bit would clear my finger and still cycle. has anyone done this?

depends on how much you want to bend it? I bent both mine to clear the new boyds stocks with no trouble, but then I did not tweak them much either, just enough to not hit the stock on closing

well went ahead and stuck the handle in the press brake here at work, made the end almost straight, it now clears my finger and the scope.... took a gamble and this time it paid off
