I need a blind mag. mag. box for a 116 that was originally a 7 Rem.Mag. I need 1 for a ultra mag. model. My 116 was made before the ultra mag. was Invented and is a different caliber than what the s/n is going to show. Will I cause myself any problems if they catch this? Thanks, Paul :confused:

The RUM/H&H mag boxes are discontinued(and weren't very long anyway). Modified center feed mag box is the way to go.

Thanks KRP, any idea how much longer than the 7mm RM box? I don't need as much as I originally thought. If nothing else I'm going to get another 7mm box to cut up and lengthen and keep the original in case I can't get it to work. Thanks again, Paul

They were 3.6" vs the standard 3.4". You can get ~3.9" to feed, much less work using the center feed box.
