Backgound: I wanted a really nice 221 fireball. I had a CZ 527 in a fireball and fell in love, so I decided I wanted to build one. Through my initial searching, I learned that the fireball won't extract correctly when it's dragged through the bolt lug raceway. In other words, the ejector has to push the case up as it's extracting. So the search was on. Remington and Savage actions were out, so it was on to the customs. A short search told me the Stiller Predator short action would do the trick. Next, if I was going to be putting some good money into this rig, I wanted switch barrel possibilities for when my caliber A.D.D. kicks in.

Stiller Predator Short Action Small Bolt Face
Pacnor 1-12 3G Remington Varmint barrel at 25" with Pac-nor nut
Timney Calvin Elite Trigger
Remington bottom metal and magazine parts
Bell and Carlson M40 with butt hook stock (I might switch to a greybull in the future)
Talley Rings
Sightron 6-24x40 with a dot

Sweet set up I have a stiller in 6.5 06imp that is an awesome gun but I will be making it a switch barrel like yours when I burn the barrel out.will a regular savage wrench work for the pacnor nut?

I used my Wheeler wrench and it worked fine.

How much did you have to alter the stock for the nut?
