Anyone scoped a 93R17-FV-SR.?

I just picked up a new short Varmit gun and wondered if anyone has scoped this rifle yet? I am thinking a "scout type" scope might be really sweet on this little rifle. It will be my "go anywhere/anytime" varmit piece. I would like to stay under $500 for scope and rings. I am sure most shots will be under 150 yards. All input appreciated.

The DeadNutz Game Reaper single piece mounts are very popular for the Savage rimfires. However, I don't think I have ever seen a scout style set up on one.

Thanks for your input. I'am dazed and confused by all the options out there and do not want to be one of those folks that buy several scopes in order to find the correct one. My thoughts are lower mounts and a larger scope to allow "seeing the target" easily after my shots.....be that paper or critter. Just need to make sure I have bolt clearance.
