Here is the setup I'm running on mine.

Works great for me and I have PLENTY of room with my 42mm objective as you can see in my sig.

Good luck,
Merritt

There are a couple of variations of the 200 action. There is the round action where the front and back ring or top of the action are the same height and contour. Some have a flattened top on the back I believe. On mine I use weaver #46 bases front and back with medium height burris zee rings. If your scope is short they make a extension base # 402 that will help. By the way savage short actions are longer than some and some short/compact scopes are too short to fit in 2 pc mounts easily. I had trouble with a redfield 2x7 scope. If you want a 1 piece base then I purchased a B-square one piece that is very nice. It comes for all of the various action types and lengths and it too uses weaver style rings. I am partial to zee rings and use then for all of my rifles. Hope this helps.

All of the manufactures you mention make something for Savage/Stevens.
When ordering use the Savage model 10 part numbers for short actions and model 110 for long actions.
You can also look up EGW, or DNZ and I think Conertrol.
As for the height I would recommend looking that up on the ring manufactures web sight, they usually have a list.
