Hey guys, Bought my first weather warrior today in 6.5 Creedmoor. It was a steal at $500 lightly used. This is my first time with the accustock and am wondering what your experience has been like with it concerning accuracy. Other than knowing its bedded it looks just like any ole savage factory plastic. Like I said, just curious about its performance in the field. Im tickled to get it out and test it this weekend. Picked up a Nikon Prostaff 4-12x40 on the cheap until I can get my Vortex in.

The sheet metal in it is known to crack. Otherwise it is essentially the same sewer pipe Savage always uses, only now with tin!

Four typical hunting purposes out to 300 yards and WITHOUT a bi-pod, I think the Accustock is just fine. It will still flex a bit, though, if you rest the forearm on the extreme end of the stock.

Which sheetmetal cracks on them if you don't mind expounding the knowledge you have concerning the accustock?

Between the fore-end and receiver. Should still be able to use the search function on this site to find the threads. Been a fair number of posts over the years about it.
