My name is Mike and i have a savage270 . previous had a savage 243 came across this sears and roebuck model 2200 lever action
model number is what they say savage made. when i got the gun the guy told me he had the magazine,come to find out he doesn't. any one know where i can find a magazine for this gun ? im dying to shoot it:help::help::help::help:

Does it have another model number on it anywhere like 101.538830 for example?

yes the number is 101,538840

Not sure to be honest, but if I had to make an educated guess I would say one is original and the other two are possibly aftermarket.
