Advise and help with 6.5 Grendel build

I am wanting to built a sporter barrel 6.5 Grendel and have a new trophy hunter on the way for the action and stock. I ordering a 7.62x39 mag. I can't find a 7.62x39 bolt in stock. Also can anyone recommend or know of any places that sale the savage pre fits in 6.5 Grendel. Any help is appreciated.

For a bolt head and barrel check with Gun Shack.

Apache Gun Works for the barrel. Jim can make you a great barrel for a great price. It will shoot too! I've got one and it is excellent.

PAC-Nor makes Savage drop-ins for at least one of the Grendel chambers.

I am shooting a TC Encore in the Grendel. It has an 18" barrel and looks shorter!

Keep us posted -- the Grendel is a fine mild-recoil multipurpose cartridge that more folks are discovering does well in the Savage.
