New 12LRP on its way, in 6.5 Creed, should be at the shop on next tuesday (Nov 4th, go vote after work and pick up new gun, how American is that?)

Collecting pieces needed to make it shoot (sight base, ammo), and then I'm gonna need something to clean it (bore guide, brushes, jags).

Trying to determine which bore guide fits.

In my own searching, it looks like this sinclair one works (at least Sinclair cust service answered that it was correct for this rifle/caliber in the previous Q&A's)

Also looks like a Possum hollow #4 or #44 might/would work.

Looking to have someone confirm so I can get to ordering parts.

Thanks

I have one of those Sinclairs for my 300wm...I only used it once and dont like it.this is the one ive used for years and like...ive used it on everything from a 204 up to my 300wm...I also only use dewy coated rods as they are the only rods ive used that the handles spin freely and dont gum up or bind.

You are looking at a bore guide manufactured by Possum Hollow. Midway USA also has them listed under "Possum Hollow Bore Guide". The #4 will work with the 6.5 Creedmore and other .308/.30-06 cartridge derivatives. Simple, firm fit and easier to use than other all-in-one bore guides IMO. The Possum Hollow web site has a link to a bore chart for choosing the right size for the Savage action and barrels.
