gents setting up my new fvt. attached a cheek piece to the butt stock. i used the plastic ones savage supplies with the choate centerfire rifles.
...i am lazy so i removed the front sight and replaced it with one with a adjustable iris instead of the inserts. the first sight i tried was too high. it used up all the rear sights travel to zero it in. a shorter sight cured that issue.
...so far it is easy to call my shots when shooting. believe it or not but wearing ear muffs also shows my lack of follow through or my poor recoil handling/flinching......bobn
