I need a trigger sear part # 105268. They are $9.00 on the Savage web site but you have to be a gunsmith to buy one.
Where can I pick one of these up?

Brownells, sells the top release sear. But it is out of stock.

Keep an eye on gunbroker and ebay.

What about Numrich?

This is the first model 10 schematic I pulled up:

Thanks guys, I'll look around on Numrich. This is the Accutrigger sear.

Hate to dredge up an old thread, but I'm still looking for a 110 newer trigger sear.

Any help where to find one would be appreciated.

BTW-

They won't sell a $2.00 spring for a trigger to a non-gunsmith either.

You'll have to employ the services of a gunsmith. Take your serial number to him and ask that he order a sear for your serial number firearm. They're not terribly expensive, your local gunsmith may or may not markup the price. Expect it will take several weeks.

Are you wanting a top bolt release sear for a accutrigger? You can probably get the sear or the whole trigger off someone here for less trouble.

Except that I'm not ordering a sear for a gun I have. I'm ordering a sear to change out my trigger group. I'm converting an early Chicopee Falls gun to the newer style top bolt release sear so I can install an aftermarket trigger. I'll try here first. Thanks.
