If after you have freefloated everything, torqued the mtg screws correctly, got rid of the light, let the barrel cool between shots and it still shoots alternating each side then you have a bad scope. Can happen even with a new scope, usualy because the screws on the rings are titghtened to much and damage the internals. Sprinkle a little rosin in the rings to prevent it moving forward (definately due to recoil with the light on it.) If you have another scope you can try do it to see what happens if you still have the same problem. If no problem with another scope then the one you used is damaged.
