The Moon is almost completely enveloped in shadow, and the maximum eclipse happens in about 40 minutes. If you've got clear skies, take a look! If you don't, you can watch here too (http://live.slooh.com/stadium/live/slooh-covers-the-total-lunar-eclipse-of-october-2014-as-it-slides-across-the-pacific-ocean).

Pretty clear here. I tried to go out and take some pics of it, but my camera would not pick it up with the neighbors flood lights on.

Too cloudy here on the east coast of Fla.
Had to watch it on the computer.

2nd total we've had this year, no?...
