Weaver 48338 mount for Savage 110 series rifles-the screws

1. front 2 screws are too long, hit barrel threads and bolt.
2. .250" overall length screws fit fine in my guns.
3. please check your gun screw length and post here. When I know the length I plan to buy quantities and give the right length screws away here.

Maybe I wasn't clear. On my rifles, screws with oal of .250" in the Weaver mount don't interfere with barrel threads or the bolt. I'm asking a few of you guys to check the overall length, or protrusion below the mount, of the screws you use that don't interfere, on your guns, with barrel threads or bolt.
I will then buy boxes of the correct length screws and give them away here.

Sorry, but I do not have have a Weaver 48338 base on my rifle, and I do not want to remove the scope to check the length of the screws. I would have to sight in the scope all over again and this close to hunting season I don't like to make changes to my rifle.
