Got these three one morning on a trip during my predeployment leave. Can't wait to get back and get back in the stand. Haha so as I was half asleep in the stand after a late night I glanced up and saw about 5 hogs out around 100m away. Thought to myself "oh cool, hogs" then closed my eyes for a second before realizing "oh crap, hogs!" Lol.
Put the larger in my sights and squeezed the trigger. Right in the ear, DRT. The rest started running and one ran straight down the road so I racked another round and it turned and started across the road, took a shoulder shot and it tumbled into the brush on the far side of the road. I was excited.
As I scanned the road, one more came running back out across the road so I took another head shot. Dropped and did a slight tumble and stopped. I couldn't believe I got three hogs in about 20 seconds. Lol.
Rifle is a Savage 11 in 308 with leupold vxII optic and Timney trigger at the time of this picture.

This is the exit wound of the last pig running across the road.
