Greetings,

Has anyone made their own zero stop for a SWFA SS 10 x 42? I've seen youtube videos of zero stops made from cylindrical nylon spacers. My question is approximately what height cylinder did you start with? I realize the final height will be a fine adjustment for each rifle.

Or is there a procedure to measure the height one needs?

thanks for your input.

I bought a set for $20. a bunch of thin plastic(?) washers of various thicknesses that you stack as needed. It's kinda trial by error IIRC. Snipers Hide has thread on them. http://forum.snipershide.com/snipers-hide-rifle-scopes/224272-zero-stops-swfa-super-sniper-scopes.html

Fox,

Thanks for your input. Did the shims work for you?

1 garden hose gasket washer was just the right size for mine.
