Howdy! Just a retired Navy vet living and working in San Diego. Got back into shooting last year with a Savage Mk II .22lr and just "jailed" a new Savage Axis II .223 over the weekend. Thought it was high time to finally join this forum. I enjoy long range target shooting for fun and so far my longest shot was 720 yards with a borrowed Savage 10/110 .223 just a few weeks ago.
Other than its bull barrel, my Mk II is completely stock. I've been very happy with it and feel that Savages are a good value. I'm looking forward to learning from other Savage owners as I customize my Axis II.
