Stupid Trigger Question

How far does a Savage model 25's accutrigger move back when you fire the gun? - I'm asking about over-travel.

Depends on several variables but to give a vague answer, not terribly far. Worst one I have has maybe 1/32" over travel (I am guessing that based off of how far it appears the bottom tip of the trigger travels. I am basing my response off of the 110 style actions, but the 25's and my Model 40 (older sister of the 25) that I have handled feel and appear the same as the 110's for the most part.

I was curious, thinking that maybe mine had been worked on. - I like the trigger on my model 25 quite a bit.
