model 99 reloading dies

my brother has a model 99 in 300 savage and we want to reload for it, can we get away with standard dies or will we need small base dies.:crazy:

Standard should be fine. The 99 I had in 243 cycled great with loads made in standard dies.

I have a couple 99's and none of them have required small base dies.

No problems with my 99s in .250 Savage, .300 Savage, and .358 Winchester using standard dies.
