Youll like the RL-19...I shoot 17 and 22 and really like the reloader powders.

I use RL19 in my 25.06 with great results and I have a bunch of 15 but I don't think I have that caliber barrel any longer. The 4831 has been the gold standard here for years with the .270 so I'm looking forward to trying the 19 for a change.
I have to admit, the RL powders do work well in the applications I've tried them in. Usually when I can't seem the get something fine tuned enough with an IMR powder, RL saves the day.

Today was 50 rounds for the 7mm RUM using a whole lot of US869 and the 200gr Wildcat bullets, 25 for the 375 BME with an obscene amount of H1000 and the 350gr SMK, and finally 40 rounds for the 284 with H4831sc and the 168 Matrix VLD.

What I really need to do is find something that I can use Varget or Retumbo in. Every time I sit at my bench I see 12# of each sitting there unopened and unloved. I need to build more guns so that I can use this stuff!

You try the retumbo in the 7mm or the 284? Im have great results with h1000 in my 260.

The Retumbo is a little on the fast side for the 200 grain bullets in the RUM and too slow for the 284 Win from the 19" handgun barrel. It would make for an impressive fire ball though! I've considered trying it in the 375 BME with the 350gr Match Kings, but it's hard to beat the performance that I'm getting from H1000 in that case. I may play with it some more once I run out of H1000, if that ever happens! A local shop had 8# kegs of Varget, H1000, Retumbo, and H4831sc a while back so I bought one of each ( I didn't want to be greedy so I only got 1 of each ;))

I just sold an 8lb jug of h1000 and now im kicking myself for selling it...ive got about 3-4lbs left from another jug that will last awhile in my 260.

I didn't load nuth'n today but yesterday after I got home from taking my grandson bass fish'n. On the way I stopped and picked up some R22 for a 25-06 I'm play'n with. Loaded a few for that, some 243s and 7-08s for my grandsons to practice with. Now that the weather is getting cooler its time to warm up some goat barrels.

What neck turner did you get? I've been thinking about turning necks myself and have been looking at all the higher end units.

21'st Century.
I'm kinda excited!
Should be here tomorrow.
