I was kinda surprised by the review of the Zeiss Terra ED 10X42mm binoculars in the recent copy of American Rifleman. Yep, made in China.
Like Redfield's 2 low end models, Weaver, etc.
I'm sure Sam Walton is still spinning in his grave.
I guess I shouldn't have been too surprised...... I am the last one to be a Chinese scope 'hater', since I own a LOT and like most of them.
I can still remember my shooting buddies making fun of my Japanese Tasco (20X40mm) back in the mid 70's, since that was all I could afford at the time.
Looking through that old Tasco still amazes me.....
I'm going to make a comparison on this forum tomorrow, comparing 2 scopes (one a big name)....
