Savage 10BA 6.5 Creedmoor Mag

I took the plunge and bought a 10BA in 6.5 Creedmoor - brand new in the box for $1400. I'm waiting for scope rings, brass, and reloading dies to come before I can shoot it. The 10 round mag that came with it is marked .308. I know the 6.5 Creedmoor is in the .308 cartridge family. Searching the web I found the 6.5 Creedmoor mags with a sku of 109899 and .308 mags with a sku of 55183. Does anyone know if the .308 mag will work with 6.5 Creedmoor ammo?

I don't think it will be a problem as the cases are similar in shape and length.

Thanks for the input. I was assuming it will work, since that is what came with the rifle. While looking for a 2nd mag, I found different sku numbers and prices between .308 and 6.5 CM mag.
