I picked up a weaver 44/40 in 4-12x44 the other day at a pretty good price for my 243. It's new but outta the box so no paperwork included. It looks like it has pull up resetable turrets but I can't figure out how they work. I tried pulling up on the outer part of the turret but it won't budge. Anybody have one of these and know how it works? Thanks

That scope was originally sold by Intensity, lasted about 6 months then rebranded by Weaver. I have one of the originals nice scope for hunting but cross hairs way too thick for paper punching. As for resetting turrets don't remember them being resettable.I will look later, think I may still have paper work.

Thank you! Ya they may not be just looked like they were. I'll have to take a pic and post it later. Ya crosshairs are like a thick duplex. I agree a little too thick but should work for deer hunting. A lot nicer scope than I expected for the $100 I paid for it.

That is what I paid bnib. I just looked at it and can say without a doubt they are not resettable on mine.

Ya I don't know everywhere I looked they were $170 and up but either way it may not be reset table just not sure why the center part of the turret is raised but maybe just for looks or something stupid like that it looks splined but maybe it's just a two piece turret and that's how it goes together?
