I just got a hold of my brothers old savage 110 that I am using for a project. I took it off its old wooden stock clean it and start breaking it down and noticed that the trigger guard is plastic?!?! I would like to be able to torque the action screws down on the new stock close to about 65inch/lbs but fear this guard would never hold up so is there a metal one I can buy somewhere? Any help would be great...I tried google and couldn't locate any and im not sure if I need a specific one for the 110 long action...
